Welcome to the Lazy Spur Suite, a stylish two-queen retreat at Gaines Ranch on the Square, our newly built modern-Western property directly on historic Wimberley Square. Designed for couples, friends, or a small family, it gives you a comfortable place to stay while putting downtown Wimberley just outside your door.

The suite features two plush queen beds with luxury Comphy linens, soft pillows, and comfortable bedding. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower, quality towels, toiletries, and clean modern finishes.

A coffee station and mini-refrigerator make mornings and evenings easy, while a Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and individual AC/heat add the everyday comforts you want during your stay.

Lazy Spur is located on the second floor and is accessed by stairs. Built in 2025, the suite combines fresh finishes with warm modern-Western character inspired by the Texas Hill Country.

The location is the real standout. Walk out the door to coffee shops, restaurants, wine bars, boutiques, art galleries, live music, and downtown events on Wimberley Square. Park once and explore on foot, with free on-site parking available when you're ready to venture farther into the Hill Country.

Blue Hole Regional Park, Jacob's Well, wineries, scenic drives, wedding venues, and other Wimberley-area attractions are an easy drive away.

Traveling with family or friends? Gaines Ranch on the Square has multiple suites on the same property, and our sister property, Cabins on the Square, is located next door. Additional accommodations may be available for larger groups.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Rates vary by season, weekends, holidays, and local events, with peak pricing during high-demand periods such as festivals and Market Days. Extended stays and midweek visits may offer better value. Pricing reflects Lazy Spur’s newly built accommodations and prime location directly on Wimberley Square, where guests can park once and walk to much of downtown.
