Group Stays at 200 + 204 Wimberley Square
Two family-owned buildings. One walkable block. Built for your group.
200 + 204 Wimberley Square. Two family-owned buildings, side by side, in the heart of downtown Wimberley. The whole group sleeps a 30-second walk from each other — and a few minutes from everything that brought you to town in the first place.
Most Hill Country group trips end up split across distant Airbnbs, hotels off the highway, or rental houses that need a shuttle. Not here. Reserve Gaines Ranch on the Square (204) and Cabins on the Square (200) together and your full party stays in walkable downtown Wimberley. Restaurants, wine bars, the Square, Henson Square, Cypress Creek — all on foot. The town does the work. We're the lodging.
Why Groups Stay Here
Stay Together. Walk Everywhere.
The point of a group trip is the group. We make it easy to stay close without giving up the privacy each guest wants. Two adjacent buildings means everyone has their own space, but the whole party is sharing one walkable block of downtown Wimberley.
- Walk to dinner together. Restaurants, Tex-Mex, BBQ, and sit-down spots circle the Square. No "meet you there" texts.
- Walk to the wine. Henson Square is steps away. Hill Country wineries are a short drive when the group wants to expand the day.
- Walk to the morning. Coffee shops, bakeries, and porch hangouts are within a block of both buildings.
- Walk to the swim. Cypress Creek runs through downtown. Blue Hole and Jacob's Well are a short drive away.
- Walk back when you're done. No DDs, no parking lots, no late-night drives.
Flexible Itineraries — Built for Whoever's Coming
Group trips usually mean compromises. Someone wants to hike, someone wants to nap, someone wants to taste wine, someone wants to go antiquing. Staying in downtown Wimberley fixes most of that. Everyone does what they want during the day — and meets back on the porch for dinner.
Wedding Parties
Your bridal party, parents, and out-of-town guests stay in walkable downtown Wimberley together. Walk to your ceremony venue, walk to the rehearsal dinner, walk to the after-party. Everyone in town for the whole weekend, no one driving back to a remote rental at midnight.
Corporate Retreats
The team stays in one walkable block. Walk to working lunches, walk to evening dinners, walk to morning coffee. Hill Country break from the office without rental cars, shuttles, or anyone showing up late from the wrong hotel.
Yoga & Wellness Retreats
Quiet enough for early mornings. Walkable to coffee shops, juice bars, and the slower pace a wellness weekend needs. Cypress Creek and Blue Hole nearby for nature breaks. Henson Square wine for the evenings that earn it.
Family Reunions
Three generations, multiple households, one walkable block. ADA-accessible ground-floor suite at Gaines Ranch for grandparents. Family-friendly cabins at Cabins on the Square for younger families. Everyone close, no one trapped.
Milestone Birthdays & Anniversaries
Big birthdays, anniversaries, "kids and grandkids weekends." A Hill Country town that earns the trip, in a setup where everyone can come and the logistics don't ruin the vibe.
Friend Group Getaways
Long weekends, bachelorette parties, "we haven't done this in years" trips. Stay together but with private rooms when you need them. Walk to wine, walk to dinner, walk back.

Why 200 + 204 Works
- One family, one point of contact. Pat, Kristie, and Shelli run both buildings. You book once, communicate with one team, and we coordinate the rest.
- Walkable Wimberley is the win. The town is the experience. Restaurants, shops, Henson Square, Cypress Creek, Lions Field for Market Days — all on foot. No DDs, no shuttle vans, no logistics calendar.
- Flexible itineraries. Your group does what your group wants. Some sleep in, some hike, some shop, some taste. Everyone meets back at the porch.
- Mixed accommodations. Modern boutique suites at Gaines Ranch (204), traditional Hill Country cabins at Cabins on the Square (200). Pick what fits each guest.
- Direct booking. No third-party fees, no platform commissions. One conversation, one quote, one family.
How It Works
- Reach out. Tell us your dates, group size, and what you're celebrating.
- We build a stay that fits. Combined-property availability across both buildings, group rate, and a hold period to confirm with your group.
- Lock it in. Single point of contact across both buildings. We coordinate check-ins, room assignments, and any special requests.
- Show up and enjoy. We meet you on arrival, walk you through both buildings, and stay reachable for anything you need.
Pricing
Combined-property pricing is dynamic and depends on dates, season, length of stay, and how the group splits across both buildings. Multi-night stays unlock better rates. Buyouts of just one property (Gaines Ranch only or Cabins only) are also possible if your group is smaller.
We don't post static rates because they go stale fast. We DO build a real quote within 24 hours of your inquiry.

Just One Property?
Not every group needs both buildings. Reserve just Gaines Ranch (204) for a sleeps-18 buyout, or just Cabins on the Square (200) for the cabin experience. Same family runs both.
Common Questions
Is there a minimum stay for combined bookings?
Two nights is typical, three for peak weekends. Longer stays unlock better rates.
Are pets allowed?
No pets at either property.
Is there parking for a large group?
Yes — on-site parking at both buildings, plus public parking on the Square for additional vehicles.
Can the group take meals together?
Yes. The Square has restaurants for every kind of meal, all walking distance. Both properties have kitchen space if you'd rather cook in. Catered meals on the courtyard are easy to arrange — we can recommend caterers we trust.
How does check-in work for a large group?
We coordinate staggered arrivals, distribute keys, and walk through both buildings with your point of contact. Most groups have everyone settled within an afternoon.
Do you offer a discount for booking both properties?
We build custom quotes for combined bookings. Multi-night stays and midweek dates typically price more favorably.
Can you recommend things to do for the group?
Yes. Restaurant picks, wineries, swimming holes, hikes, day trips. Everything's covered in our Local Wimberley Guide and we're happy to help build out an itinerary.
