Rancher’s Rest is a peaceful upstairs king suite at Gaines Ranch on the Square, a newly built modern-western property in the heart of downtown Wimberley, Texas. Designed for couples or solo travelers, it combines a quiet, comfortable retreat with one of the most walkable locations in Wimberley.

The suite features a plush king bed with luxury Comphy® linens, soft pillows, and quality bedding. The private en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, modern fixtures, soft towels, and toiletries.

Inside, guests also enjoy a Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, coffee station, mini-refrigerator, and individual AC/heat. The modern-western design blends clean finishes with warm Hill Country character.

Rancher’s Rest is located on the second floor and is accessed by stairs.

Step outside and you’re directly on Wimberley Square, within easy walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, wine bars, boutiques, art galleries, live music, and local events. Free on-site parking is included, making it easy to park once and explore downtown on foot.

Gaines Ranch on the Square is family-owned and located next door to our sister property, Cabins on the Square.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Rates vary by season, weekends, holidays, and local events. Peak pricing may apply during high-demand periods such as festivals, weddings, Market Days, and holidays. Extended stays and midweek visits may offer better value. Pricing reflects the suite’s prime location directly on Wimberley Square and the convenience of walking to downtown shops, dining, and entertainment.
